Journey to Excellence is the new performance recognition program for Councils, Districts, and Units.
Reserve Your Seat for Journey to Excellence
Scouting's Journey to Excellence is the BSA's new council performance
recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and continuous
improvement in the performance of our units, districts, and councils.
It is replacing the Centennial Quality Awards program.
To support the reporting of JTE achievement, a new dashboard has been
developed on MyScouting.org to track council-level progress within the
17 individual criteria in the Journey to Excellence:
- Within each objective (finance, membership, program, unit service, leadership,
and governance)
- For each criterion (bronze, silver, gold)
- And toward a council's overall points tally (bronze, silver, gold)
We encourage you to join a webinar and learn how to track your councils'
progress.
Webinars are offered in the mornings and afternoons
of April 5 and April 6 for volunteers. We hope you will attend
one of these sessions. For information and to sign up for the volunteer
webinar, please click this link:
