Take the trip of a lifetime! Walk where man may not have walked in hundreds of years - if ever!
At the ASC Trek Camp we want you to have a trip that will be in your memories forever.
Working in conjunction with the New York State Health department we have eight extended trips that have been pre-approved. With enough lead time to get approval other itineraries are possible.
It is possible to complete the requirements for the 50 Miler Afoot/Afloat Award on all of our trips.
To assist you we have assigned a rating to our trips based on the difficulty level:
Class 1 - This trip requires little or no prior experience. It is an excellent vehicle to use to build up to higher rated trips.
Class 2 - This trip requires some experience and and a basic familiarization with the equipment being used.
Class 3 - This trip requires experience and familiarization with the equipment. Stamina and physical strength are an asset.
You can get more information in Section 4 of the Camp Leaders Manual.
